These terms apply to services provided by RS Keys, an independent mobile auto locksmith serving the Isle of Wight. By instructing us to carry out work, you accept these terms. If anything is unclear, ask before work begins.

Prices are given based on the vehicle details and information you provide. A price quoted before attendance is confirmed once we have seen the vehicle, because the key and immobiliser system fitted can vary within the same make and model.

If the job turns out to be different from what was described, we will tell you the revised price and get your agreement before continuing. RS Keys does not charge a call-out fee.

RS Keys does not claim to work on every vehicle. Compatibility varies by make, model, year and the key system fitted. We will confirm whether a job is one we can take on before attending wherever possible, and we will say so if a vehicle needs a main dealer rather than accept work we cannot complete.

For key supply we may ask to see identification and proof of ownership of the vehicle, such as the V5C. We may decline to supply keys where ownership cannot be demonstrated. This protects our customers from key theft.

Payment is taken once the work is complete and you are satisfied with it. Accepted payment methods are confirmed at the time. Work is not released before payment unless agreed in advance.

All RS Keys workmanship is covered by a 12-month warranty. If a problem arises with work we carried out, contact us and we will put it right.

The warranty covers our workmanship. It does not cover subsequent physical damage, water damage, loss of the key, or faults arising from work carried out by another party after ours.

We take care with every vehicle we attend and use non-destructive methods where possible. Where a vehicle has pre-existing damage, corrosion or a non-standard modification, we will point it out before starting. RS Keys is not liable for pre-existing faults or for damage arising from conditions we have drawn to your attention.

If you need to cancel or rearrange, tell us as soon as you can so the slot can be offered to someone else. There is no cancellation charge for work that has not yet started.

RS Keys is an auto locksmith only. We do not provide ECU remapping, performance tuning, eco tuning, DPF tuning, AdBlue tuning, engine remapping or performance upgrades, and we do not carry out mechanical repairs or servicing. We do not provide house or commercial property locksmithing.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
